Cast Nylon Rod and Sheet
Cast Nylon Rods and Sheets are durable and versatile engineering plastics widely used across industries like automotive, construction, and manufacturing. Known for their exceptional wear resistance, low friction, and high mechanical strength, these products are perfect for demanding applications. As a trusted manufacturer, supplier, and exporter, we offer premium-quality Cast Nylon Rods and Sheets in customizable sizes and grades. Our products meet global standards, ensuring reliability and performance for a variety of industrial needs.
Cast Nylon: Superior Strength and Versatility
CAST NYLON is typically preferable to extruded Nylon-6. Because it is created through direct polymerisation of caprolactam, the polymer has never been melted and hence has not been susceptible to heat deterioration. Furthermore, its molecular weight (up to 10,00,000) is several times that of extruded nylon-6 (30,000). Because the physical properties of thermoplastics improve with increasing molecular weight, they have higher tensile and compressive strength, greater hardness and modulus of elasticity, higher wear resistance, lower distortion at higher temperatures, less moisture, better dimensional stability, and better resistance to solvents than extruded nylon 6.Thus, for bearings, gears, and structural purposes.

CAST NYLON is the result of modern plastics technology, allowing you to choose any shape or size. You are no longer constrained to the lower sizes made.

AVAILABILITY OF CAST NYLON RODS
CAST NYLON is available in stock mill shapes and custom cast finished products. Stock goods come in a variety of common sizes and popular shapes such as rods, hollow rods, sheets, blocks, and gaskets. Stock parts can be quickly and easily manufactured into a variety of finished components. Custom cast components can be created to individual requirements with no size (geometry) limitations as long as they are practicable for handling and machining.
MACHINING OF CAST NYLON SHEETS
CAST profiles provide exceptional machinability. Various pieces can thus be machined to strict tolerances from stocks such as rods, sheets, and blocks. Machining CAST NYLON does not require any more expertise beyond that required for machining soft metal and can be done with wood or metalworking equipment such as normal lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and so on. CAST NYLON can be turned, drilled, tapped, threaded, reamed, machined, planed, sawn, or blanked. A catalogue with extensive information on machining is available upon request.
