UHMWPE Rods and Sheets
Dharti Polymers Sheets along with UHMWPE Rods can be used successfully as a linear material for hoppers, silos, and chutes. The anti-sticking properties of Dharti Polymers prevent caking or freezing of silo content on the surface of silos, hoppers, separators, and other plants. The key advantage of Dharti Polymers Lining is its ease of release and slidability, thus it is evident that blockage of materials, which you are currently experiencing, will not occur; instead, by deploying Dharti Polymers Lining, continuous flow will be maintained naturally.
PHYSICAL FEATURES of UHMWPE Rods:

- Excellent abrasion resistance (for example, in a widely established test in the materials handling industry, samples of various materials are spun in sand water slurry, and volume losses are determined). Carbon steel was awarded an abrasion loss value of 100 based on the amount of material lost throughout the test. Other materials in the same test were rated as shown in the table below. It is worth noting that a lower number indicates superior wear properties.

Method of installation of dharti polymers wear resistant linear plates
Dharti polymer liners can be installed on steel or concrete. Bunkers, chutes, silos, etc. The surface on which the liners are to be installed must be somewhat flat and clean. Correct installation of the dharti polymers wear liner can ensure satisfactory functioning. If liner plates are exposed to sunlight, use black, UV-resistant liners. While installing the liners, the coefficient of expansion of uhmw polyethylene “Dharti Polymers” must be considered because it is approximately 8 times lighter than steel. As a result, it is always recommended to mount the liners at their regular operating temperature.
Liners are typically arranged lengthwise in the direction of bulk material flow, with one plate overhanging the next by approximately 15 mm horizontally. Vertical joints are placed edge to edge according to the requirements; liners can also be placed edge to edge but staggered without issue. When lining a curved surface with few divisions, many grooves are cut into the backside of the liner to fit the relevant region. In the case of bunker lining, the uppermost edge of the liner plate is covered by steel strips to prevent fine particles from seeping in. The great resilience of uhmw polyethylene to solvents limits the spectrum of possible adhesives for glueing.

USUAL RECOMMENDED THICKNESS OF LINER IS 10 & 20 MM. IN CRUCIAL CORNER THICKNESS CAN BE INCREASED. DHARTI POLYMERS LINERS ARE AVAILABLE IN THICKNESS UP TO 75 MM AND ABOVE.

DHARTI POLYMERS is a specially formed polymer designed for bulk material handling in mining, conveying, storage, and transportation. DHARTI POLYMERS solves typical bulk material storage difficulties such as arching, shaft formation, caking, and uneven discharge due to its good sliding qualities and great abrasion resistance, outwearing stainless steel by nearly a 2:1 ratio.
